#MovieWednesday

This weeks movie is Freedom Writers. Starring Hilary Swank; it is a drama based on the book 'The Freedom Writers Diary' by teacher Erin Gruwell. Based in 1993-1996, Erin Gruwell (played by Hilary Swank) leaves her safe hometown and teach at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach.
She soon realises that despite her enthusiasm the students are rather 'unteacheable.' The movie focuses on topics such as racism and crime. Gruwell manages to find a teaching method which begins to help get enthusiasm out of the students as she finally gains respect also. It is one of my favourite films with a great meaning behind it and opens your eyes to the world of racism and crime etc. so if you're currently on your summer holiday already (Me! Who else?! Raise your hands with me out of excitement bitchessss wooooo) anyway, yh deffo watch this movie you won't regret it.
