MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush Review - Dollymix

He-llooooo! So I haven't posted on this blog is sooo long! But anyway, today I'm doing a review on MAC Sheertone shimmer blush - Dollymix.

I was shopping a few days ago and thought I need a new blusher. I had owned a mac blush before and was quite happy with it so I thought I'd go back there and purchase another. This is not the same blush that I had before (I've forgotten what my previous one is called) Dollymix is more if you like blushes that are a little darker in the pink shades. If you know that lighter tones of pink suit you better than I would not recommend this.

I personally really like this shade especially when I'm wearing very minimalistic and simple make up. It helps make you look a little more done up and appear as if you've spent longer than 10 minutes on your make up!

I would not recommend using this shade of blush if you've got heavy eye make-up on as you might end up lookin a little like a drag queen and look far too caked on! You may still be able to apply this blush if you really want too, it could still work if you apply it very subtly.

If you also do not like shimmer in your blush than this might not be for you. However, as it's not summer time just yet, I think even if you have a shimmer blush on you won't be able to tell too much as it's less likely to have any sun atm!

This mac blush is a really beautiful colour in my opinion and the application is very easy, the pigmentation is good and it lasts throughout most of the day!! This is probably my main reason for purchasing a mac blush. As I had one previously I knew that it tends to last me for most of the day and I won't need much re-applying, which is exactly what I wanted! This is probably it's best feature! I recommend mac blushes, it does retail at £18 which I think is fairly reasonable and given it's quality it is worth it! I would probably give this product a 4/5.
