#MovieWednesday

Heyyy guys! So this week I decided to start a #MovieWednesday series. Once a week I will post a movie that I've watched or perhaps want to see. This is just something fun to do for you guys and for myself, as it'll remind me and possibly you that we've got yet another film to put on our list! (Anyone else have a list made of films to watch?)

This week I wanted to suggest to you guys 'The Wolf Of Wall Street.' Now I know some of you might of watched it already (seriously was it not just the most motherfucking amazing film ever?!!) but there are others who have yet to see it, if you are one of them then I hope I just reminded you that you've still yet to have this incredible movie experience! Honestly, the film may be 3 hours long but it is totally worth it. It's got lots of humour, drama and besides who else doesn't love films that are based around money/drugs/sex and the mind. Those films are personally my favourite. They make you see how the mind can work on it's own or how you see everything whilst using substances (such as drugs.) I'm not saying go ahead and give drugs a go, but movie wise, I just personally find it entertaining.

Leonardo DiCaprio was as usual phenomenal! I mean I just love that man. And then he goes and does Wall Street and I love him even more! I honestly think this is his best performance he's ever done. If he doesn't finally win an oscar I'm gonna be pissed as hell!

Anyway, moral of this blog is, GO AND WATCH WOLF OF WALL STREET! Heck even if you've seen it already, watch it again!

And for those who prefer my beauty related blogs, there will be one up later this evening! So keep an eye out for that!

#firstworldproblems

As you know it was New Years a while ago. And we all, around that time, decide to make some New Years resolutions. Now I do this every year and fail every year. (Surprise, surprise) Mine are, yaknow the usual, exercise, get a diary, write in the diary, take more photos etc etc.

And this year I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty much the same, except for the diary part (let's be honest, it's never gonna happen) instead I decided that I'd start to read again. I haven't read a book (by choice not the ones that you have to read for English at school or your readings for you seminars at uni) since primary school. And hell that was a long time ago (almost 10 years!) anyway, I have actually managed to start reading again. (I use the app iBooks and I'm currently reading The Great Gatsby.) Another resolution was to be more positive and happier this year.

Anyway, enough about that. My #firstworldproblem has to do with the exercising part. So this year I did actually start to exercise! (*hears imaginary cheering* thank you! Thank you very much!) And it did actually take me by surprise that I do enjoy exercising! Moving on...so basically, when I go to jog (at a park near where I live) I take breaks every time I jog a little, and just walk for a while instead.

But, sometimes right, I end up feeling really, really, really sleepy whilst walking. (I know I know laugh ahead, but that's not the embarrassing bit yet) when I was younger you see, I used to sleep walk ALL THE TIME! But not like normal people that sleep-walk, at night, after going to bed. No, no...you see I would go out with my mum and we'd be walking wherever, and all of a sudden my eyes would just shut and I would literally just be taking a nap! (This carried on for quite a while, everyone in my family got used to it so they weren't fussed about it anymore and would just carry on making me walk anyway, cuz they knew that that's just something that I did. I was, evidently, a rather odd child tbh. Clearly still haven't grown out of that phase)

So anyway, back to 2014. Now whenever I walk, there are many times where my eyes just start to get really tired and I actually have to sometimes force myself to stay awake and not shut them! Phaha! Sighhh my #firstworldproblems are real people! Also, I'm beginning to realise that with this series, I just end up telling you stories where I just embarrass myself, but it's okay I'm not that bothered. I'm actually glad I am a weird person otherwise, I wouldn't really have much to write about!

If you have any embarrassing or funny stories please do leave them down in the comments below, I'd love to read them!

#HappySunday

Hello everybody,
I've been trying to brainstorm a few things for my blog lately; one being, coming up with a series'. I thought I would start doing a #HappySunday series. Here I will try to leave you with a positive thought/quote/picture, anything really, every Sunday and hopefully it will inspire you to begin the following week with a positive mind-set! Or just possibly put a smile on your face even if it is just for a brief moment. I just think sometimes people need a little light-hearted boost every once in a while, I know I do!

This week I leave you with this quote:

'In order to carry a positive action
we must develop here a positive vision.'

Have a great Sunday and new week!

Nars Casino - Review

Hello everybody! Today I'm doing a review on Nars Casino. I was looking for a new bronzer for contouring and was recommended this specific product and am I glad that I was! I absolutely love it and use it everyday!
The pigmentation is amazing!! It lasts me pretty much the whole day, without touch-ups! I preferred the NARS casino over the NARS Laguna as, Laguna was a little orange against my complexion and casino was a better fit. It's not orange at all and when it comes to contouring, it really does do the job! My face instantly appears slimmer and gives it added structure.

As it's very pigmented you don't necessarily need to apply a heavy amount, especially if you're going for a more subtle and natural look; however, I do personally prefer it to be applied a little heavy, just because that's my personal preference. Don't get me wrong I don't like to over do it and have a sharp and harsh line across my cheekbones but, at the same time to get the right amount of contouring, that I like, I do use quite a bit lol! NARS casino retails at £27. Giving the fact that a little goes a long way with this product it is totally worth it and even though I use it on a daily basis, there is no sign of that as it hasn't even made a dent in it's packaging.

When it comes to apply the product, I use the Real Techniques Contour Brush. (Below)
I will do a review on Real Techniques brushes soon (including the contour brush) so look out for that!

There will be another blog post again in the next few days (possibly Monday) so look out for that! Have a great weekend.

Urban Decay Naked 3 - Review

Hey guys! So I recently purchased the urban decay naked 3 palette. I was super excited to finally get my hands on it! I know I might be late with this blogpost on the palette since all bloggers have already raved about it weeks ago probably, but it only recently was back in stock.

In this picture the lighting is definetly not found the colours any justice. It still looks beautiful but it's even more gorgeous than that! I contemplating getting the naked 3 because of the rosy-dominated shades. As I felt like this might be used for paler skin whereas I have more of an warm-colour skin tone. I don't own the naked 1 or 2 so I thought about possibly purchasing one of those instead however, in the end I stuck with the naked 3 and I am very happy that I did.

The packaging this time is different to naked 1 and 2, however a little bit similar to 2 still. The palette also comes with a 2-sided brush great for applying and blending in. And a good-sized mirror!
The palette this time comes with 4 eye primers. 4 Primer Potions: Original, Eden (nude matte), Sin (shimmer), and Anti-Aging.
The palette has a selection of matte eyeshadows and shimmery eyeshadows. The third palette contains brand new 12 shades. (Different to naked 1 and 2 which had several similarities) the pigmentation is amazing! From the colours that I have tried they all stay on throughout the night and don't wear off at all.

My favourite shades so far would have to be, burnout, limit, factory and black heart. I haven't tried all of the shades yet which is why there are others that I would also favourite however, I haven't got round to testing them out just yet.

As I said earlier, I have more of a warm skin tone which is why I was hesitant at first to purchase this palette. Some people said because of the rosy-pink tones in the palette it would not suit my skin tone and others said it suited all. After testing out some of the shades I also believe it probably suits all skin tones. It definetly suits warm tones, in my opinion.

Overall I would give the palette 10/10 as I have yet to find anything wrong with it. I'm completely in love with it and it's my favourite beauty product atm! The palette retails at £37 which I know is not cheap, however considering the fact that you get 12 eyeshadows, the pigmentation is amazing plus it is from a well-known and loved brand, I think the price is actually reasonable. Also think about it, if you was to purchase eyeshadows at mac which I believe are around the £8-10 mark? (I think not sure, don't quite me on it lol) for 12 shades you would have to pay a lot more than £37! I highly recommend this palette especially if you don't wear a lot of eyeshadow on a day-to-day basis this would be a great one to start with! At the same time you can create a more of an smokey eye aswell!

I'm also thinking about possibly doing a tutorial using the naked 3 so if you would like to see that let me know!

Speak to you soon!
