Monday Feb 22nd
It's 10;27 on a Monday morning. Im currently sat in a lecture feeling incredibly bored and sleepy. The only reason I've come into uni this morning is because I need to speak to my teacher afterwards and this is the only time that I know I'll see her this week; had it not been for that though, I certainly would be in bed right now. Luckily the people in my class are alright and I get on with. Having people to talk with during and in between lectures help make the time go faster. Its always great to know that we share a mutual hatred for Trump. Anyway, Monday mornings are really not my cup of tea, don't think I've ever met anyone that likes them. If you do exist, you are a strange strange human.
Friday March 4th
I had a lecture today, the only one I was willing to attend this week but once I got to uni, I realised it just wasn't going to happen. Instead me and my friend decided to go to the library and do work. That 'work' turned into a big, long, 3 hour conversation, along with another friend of ours, about pretty much everything. From the countdown to our last assignment, to marriage proposals, to throwing it back to college days and everything else inbetween. There's only about 2 months left for me at university and once I'm done it will probably be these kinda days that I will miss the most. Oh, and if you couldn't tell already, we did absolutely zero work in the library.
Sighhh I honestly cannot wait for my third year to be over, I can't deny though that at the same time part of me doesn't want it to be over, only because I still have no clue as to what I want to do following this. At the start of university I felt the same way, I did think though that by third year I would finally know what it was that I wanted to do exactly; had a plan for when I was going to be done, not even a specific, fully detailed plan, but just a simple plan that told me 'right this is where you're headed to now' instead though...I got nothing. I'm thinking of leaving this for a later post where I'd go into more detail about the few of us who don't have a life plan, hell the ones who have no career plans despite the fact that they are leaving education in around two months! If this is you, don't worry, you're definitely not the only one!
Speak to you soon,

Game of Thrones - Season 6 - Behind the Scenes
(image https://twitter.com/GameOfThrones)
Game of Thrones has released yet another teaser for season 6 of the series. This time a behind the scenes clip, mainly of the crew that work behind the cameras. They haven't put it up on the shows official YouTube page so I don't have a link for it, however if you google it you'll be able to find it easily on another website. The teaser finally gave us a first look into season 6.
It is evident that there will be many battles fought throughout the realm; I'm most interested in the North though. Season 5 consisted a lot of "the North remembers" lines which, following all that the Bolton have done in s5, can only mean that people of the North will rally together to take down the Boltons, well at least thats what I'm hoping for. It was the oscars the other night (Leo finally won! Woo!) Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa in the series, was questioned about the upcoming season.
From what she said it seems Sansa will have a big season where Sansa 'really commands the respect that she deserves and grabs hold of it and she runs with it' in her own words. I took this as a sign that Sansa will have a big role in the battle against the Boltons; hopefully anyway. Side note, there were rumours circulating, due to leaked images I believe, indicating where Sansa and Reek/Theon might possibly go to and who was possibly helping her to fight the Boltons. However, I don't want to get into detail about that as its a pretty big spoiler, but hey! If you can't resist spoilers then I'm sure you'll be able to find it if you look for it on the internet, unless you've already been snooping around.
The footage also showed a scene within the House of Black and White. I find the Many-Faced Gods storyline quite intriguing however, I'm not particularly keen on Arya staying there for a full season again, though thats probably what will happen; I dunno but I prefer when Arya's on the move. Given the season 6 official poster (above image) and the official teaser that they released a short while ago its clear the Many-Faced Gods storyline will be a large part of the s6.
The Sons of Harpy appear to continuously cause trouble in the East. Daario and Ser Jorah Mormont are on a quest to find Daenerys; I like Daario he seems to be a good guy (although at times I find myself suspicious of him) Ser Jorah though, is one of my favourite characters on the show. I mean, how you could you not at least sympathise with the guy who has been stuck in the friend-zone for 6 seasons running! Since I like him, he'll probably be killed off though, his death is imminent anyway after he ended up with the greyscale disease last season. I hope for his sake he'll pass away in Dany's arms or something, but this is GoT, they don't even give the characters a happy and peaceful death; he'll probably die alone in the middle of nowhere.
Official trailer for s6 will probably be released on the day the s5 DVD comes out later this month. Can'l fault their clever marketing really.

Game of Thrones - Season 6 - Teaser
A few days back Game of Thrones released its first teaser footage for season 6. I am a huge huge HUGE GoT fan! Like, the obsession is real, you would not believe! Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore the show; it is genuinely one of my all time favourites. Since last seasons ending, I've been waiting patiently for the new season and now that were getting closer to the premiere date (April 24th) GoT is slowly releasing a bunch of new stuff that we can expect from s6.
The teaser, which you can watch above if you haven't already, is set at the House of Black and White. Seeing and hearing past characters faces, Ned Stark, Robb Stark, hell even Joffrey made me miss them so much! I loved the whole concept of the teaser, having Jon Snow in it, continuously toying with our emotions when it comes to our fav bastard, I'm not gonna lie I was getting prepared to freak out at the end cause I thought all their eyes would open ha. Some people thought the teaser was confirming many of the characters' deaths like Tyrion, but I don't think that, that was their message with the way in which they placed all the heads. The GoT writers love to toy with our emotions so I personally didn't look too in-depth into it.
Overall, the message of the teaser, for me, was definitely WINTER IS COMING, which should hopefully mean more epic White walkers scenes in s6...along with numerous deaths of our favs but lets be honest, I don't really need to tell you that, thats what comes with being a GoT fan.
Thats all for my first Game of Thrones post, its not the best and I'm not entirely sure what my GoT posts will be like but, its just a show that I adore very much so I plan on doing these as a bit of fun. I cannot wait for a full trailer of s6 footage, I'm hoping it'll be soon! I'll probably do a post on that too.

Diary Entry #3
Assignments, book reading and everything in between
I think my last Entry was around a week ago maybe, or more, not sure but anyway...I've been meaning to do another one for a few days now but just wasn't getting round to it. I had an assignment due Tuesday which I done! HOORAY! One less thing on my plate, it genuinely felt like weight off my shoulders. I thought I had another due in March but, it turns out, I don't have any essays due till April, which is great cause this means I will know focus most if not all of my energy just on my dissertation. I think thats all the uni update I got atm.
I finished my Me Before You book around that time also, I'm sure I mentioned it on my last Entry. It was a good read, I loved having something to just get me out of my own world for a lil bit, I'll probs do a review on the book on my here soon; I'm no book review expert but yanknow, I thought it would be something fun to do that might also persuade someone else to read the book, or just read in general. I think I wanna also do a post about my re-found love for reading; I stopped reading in around primary school, not starting again till about 2 years ago. Its on my list of posts-to-do.
Oooohhh another thing I just remembered is Deadpool! I went to see it on Wednesday, I have been looking forward to it coming out since, they first showed the trailer at comic-con during the summer. It was brilliant. Very funny, whilst also containing more serious and emotional moments. The context of how Wade became Deadpool is where it the more in-depth and serious moments lie. WHATS MY NAME?! (if you've seen it you'll get it haha) I wouldn't mind watching it again tbh.
I think thats all from me today, need to go brush my hair and let it dry. Adventurous times, I know! Speak to you soon.

Diary Entry #2
Back again. It's a late Monday morning, I'm suppose to be at uni right now sitting through a 2 hour lecture, instead I'm in bed. I did plan on going this morning I really did! Its just, the struggle to get out of bed was REAL and the weather right now is horrible! (Whoever lives in London will know) I'm only a 5ft1 girl and the wind is currently doing all sorts; so I guess my fear of being blown away by the wind is my excuse for refusing to leave my bed this morning.
Anyway, an update from my last post, I've barely done any work, sighhh why does this keep happening. Writing this is making me feel guilty about it so I'm hoping that following this post I'll get down to one of my assignments thats due next week. To be fair, I have started this one! Which is a great improve from my last 3,000 word assignment that I begun and finished on the due date (don't judge!) I spent my weekend watching episodes of The Office, I'd never watched it before and have been meaning to for some time, I'm enjoying it so far. Besides that, the rest of my time has been spent reading the Me Before You novel by Jojo Moyes (which I might do a review on here but, I dunno yet, I'm no expert in writing book reviews but I might give it a go anyway) I've almost finished, I have a feeling its not gonna have a happy ending but we'll see. If only I was this eager to read for my assignments thooo!
I think thats pretty much all I've got to add from last time, I'm really hoping next time I write a diary entry on here I have a much better update on my assignment lol. Pray for me to find some motivation guys!

Diary Entry #1
I haven’t been on this blog in quite some time now. I’m not sure what even happened but I think I just stopped motivating myself and a while later uni started again. I’m currently in my third year of studying History. Having done my first semester and began my second I can tell you that third year is probably the worst! I totally understand what everyone has been telling me about your final year at uni. My dissertation is, at the moment, all over the place to be honest. I kind of know what I’m doing however at the same time, have absolutely no clue. It worries and stresses me out a lot, I’m a massive worrier, I’m also awful at motivating myself.
There are numerous things that I would probably change about myself, the main one right now however, would probably be to find bloody motivation! I will sit here complain and think about how much work is pilling up yet not do anything about it at all. I don’t know why I do it, i just do. Instead I’ve been spending my time watching How To Get Away With Murder on Netflix (great show btw! my head was spinning by the end of the first season due to the many plot twists. Man i couldn’t keep up!) Anyway, back to this. I’m not entirely sure why I’ve randomly decided to write this blog post but come to think of it, maybe this will motivate me to start my assignments early instead of being my usual last-minute.com and doing it on the due date. DO NOT DO THIS.
I’m not the most vocal person when it comes to how I’m feeling or whats on my mind so i might just use this blog as a space to document how I’m doing, mainly with my current uni work load. I hope you enjoyed this muddled up bit of rambling and maybe I’ll be back on here again soon.

Shopping for the New Season
With Autumn/Winter around the corner its time to let go of those summer dresses and begin to shop for the new season. Which excites me A LOT. I love autumn, I've actually been quite looking forward to it this year. It is also a great excuse to stack your wardrobe with new pieces!
When it comes to shopping most of the time I tend to hit the shops and purchase whatever I end up liking on that shopping trip, or when I'm doing a bit of online shopping; whichever way you tend to prefer shopping. However, this time around I've decided to make a list, a wish list you could call it, of the pieces that I most feel I need.
As I said, many times I just go in and buy whatever I see that day and end up liking however, I've come to realise that, that's probably the main reason as to why I spend soo bloody much! So, what I've began to do is make a list.
It is best to sit down and have a think about what pieces of clothing you feel are most essential. If you can't remember off the top of your head then look through your wardrobe and see what you already have which you can work with; from there decide what is needed for your new season wardrobe.
Some of the things on my list are:
- Jumpers
- A good, oversized, cosy cardigan (p.s. if anyone has seen any cardigan which fits that description please do let me know. I need it in my life!)
- Checked shirt
- Ripped jeans
-Beanies
Here are some pieces which I've got my eye on, hopefully this could also give you some inspiration for your autumn wardrobe too!
