Autumn Wish List Part II

Hey guysss, excuse the delay of this blog post (awks lets quickly move on) Today I am doing Part II of my AWL. Enjoy :)

My second part of my AWL is basically 4 pieces which will help keep you warm yet stay on trend at the same time. The knitted cardigan (left, above) is from Ebay. I think this piece might be a possible LOVE/HATE piece however, I personally do love it and well at least the chic in the picture makes it look cool! (not so sure if I could make it as cool though..) The coat (right, above) is from Mango. It is definitely MUCH pricier than the colourful cardigan from Ebay, however, I personally believe that this coat is a timeless piece and is a piece that, no matter what year you are wearing it, it will still remain to look just as good.

The black biker faux leather jacket (left, above) is from Topshop. This jacket I absolutely love and believe it is a must have in any girls wardrobe! It helps create that edgier feel to your outfit instantly, in particular if you are wearing a rather girly dress and you want to toughen its look a little, this jacket would be perfect in doing so. The checked blazer (right, above) is from Asos. I actually came across this today and have been day-dreaming about it every since! (oh btw when I become OBSESSED with a piece of clothing I dream about it constantly till I finally buy it, sad I know but..well, lets move on haha) This autumn items of this style with the tartan/checked style print on it are a must-have in your wardrobe. Not to mention it will also help keep you warm and as we all know (well the people of England anyway) it is getting bloody colled over here!

So there's my Autumn Wish List Part II for you guys. Hope you guys liked it and hope it was useful/gave you inspiration for what you want to purchase this autumn. My next blog post will be up on Wednesday, it will be a review, so watch out for that one!

Autumn Wish List Part I

This week I decided I would do a Autumn wish list blog, as I had done one for the summer I thought I would do one for the new season too! And as it is that time of year where many of us head back to school I thought it could also help give you ideas when going out shopping, or online. Please not that the items below that I have chosen to share with you, are items of which I personally would purchase and wear. So the items in this blog post may not be of everyone's taste, however they are of mine.

This jumper is perfect for people of a
pale-complexion like the model
above, it is very simple however,
that makes it easy to accessorise
as you wish. The jumper is from
Topshop
This shirt by Minkpink, sold in Urban Outfitters.
I personally, am in love with this shirt, it is a sheer
burnout shirt. The shirt would be great to add a little
texture to your outfit, and would easily be the stand
out piece of your outfit. If you would want to accessorise
the outfit I would personally go for simple gold-coloured
jewellery.

This season, it is a must to own atleast
one piece of item that is of the tartan/
checked print. this shirt from Pull&Bear
is very easy to wear, comfortable for your
school days.

As it is getting colder again, knitwear is making a
return into our wardrobes. A cosy knitted
cardigan is much needed during this time
of year. This one from Asos is simple and one
that will last you for a very long time. it is also
available in cream.

And that is part I of my Autumn Wish list.
On Wednesday I will post part II.

Accessorizing your outfits can really help bring them alive and if you're not into bright colours when it comes to your clothing and you feel like you'd be standing out a little too much but, you still want to noticed than I personally think accessorizing your outfits is what's gonna help you achieve that particular style/look.

Favourite current and past Tv Shows

Current/Past - Tv shows - Reality Tv/Soaps

Hello everybody! It is a Wednesday today, and as I promised in my previous blog today's blog (if you hadn't gathered from the title already) is gone my fav past and present tv showssss!

I absolutely love to watch tv shows (obvs who doesn't?) just escaping into a different life, where fictional or non-fictional events occur. In this blog I will be listing, a list of my favourite tv shows in the past, present, current reality tv shows (I am reality tv obsessed!) and briefly mention soaps that I used to watch in the past. The lists will not necessarily be in order of popularity. And there is not going to be a specific amount of shows mentioned in each list as these will be the few that I ended up remembering. Enjoy! -

Past favourite Tv shows:

- Friends (All time favourite)
- Full House
- Married with Children
- Malcolm in the middle
- Lizzie McGuire Show
- Sweet Valley High
- Gilmore Girls
- Charmed
- Sabrina the Teenage Witch
- 90210 (this has Only just finished but still)
- Desperate Housewives
- One Tree Hill

Present favourite Tv shows:

- Pretty Little Liars
- Revenge
- New Girl
- The Big Bang Theory
- How I Met Your Mother
- The Mindy Project (now tbh I've only seen about 2 episodes of this show BUT I did really like it and I'm definitely planning on catching up on the whole season soon)
- Glee

Favourite Reality Tv shows:

- Keeping up with the Kardashians (probably my favourite including all their sister shows i.e. Taking Miami, New York)
- Made in Chelsea (this is a British based reality tv show so I'm unsure if you have heard or seen it)
The only was is Essex (another British based reality tv show
- Married to Jonas
- Real Housewives (many of the different ones come on randomly on tv and the ones I have watched I loved, like I know if I watched I religiously I would end up getting addicted and watch ALL of them - I do have to say however, that in the past my fav was New York but I stopped watching after they decided to mix up the cast and many of the main cast members were gone)
- Shahs of sunset
- The Hills (back then this was THE reality tv show)
- The Simple Life (Loved this again another none-present one)
- Newlyweds - Nick and Jessica

Soaps:

Now I don't really watch soaps anymore, besides the occasional Hollyoaks, however when I was little I had 3 particular favourites -
- Days of Our Lives
- The Bold and the Beautiful
- the third one was a Dutch soap, unfortunately I cant remember the name of the soap but I do remember loving that one as well - btw if you're wondering why I was watching a Dutch tv show, its because I used to live in Holland when I was little (yes, I've lived in several countries but may be about that later)

From my lists I can definitely tell that there used to be more tv shows that I loved, I do want to watch a few different ones that I keep hearing people talk about i.e. Mad Men but I mean I dunno maybe; or if a new tv show comes out I might give it a go, I also plan on getting many of the tv shows that I mentioned that I loved in the past as most of them if not all are some of my all time favourites and will probably always be, especially Friends I LOVED Friends!!

Hope you enjoyed looking at my favourite current and past tv shows lists and it might of possibly triggered your memory and you remember some of the past ones that I mentioned, do let me know. My next blog post will most probably be either on Saturday or Sunday.
Till next time

Chilli con Carne

First attempt at making chilli con carne with Jenni and it was beaut!

Hello everyone, hope you're having a great Monday. Aren't Monday's just the best! (Sarcasm to the up most extreme) I was suppose to go to college today but then I woke up at like almost 12 and was way too tired.

Anyway, enough about that; todays blog is on mine and Jenni's attempt at making Chilli con carne and it actually worked! We were quite gassed and pleased with ourselves cuz we actually managed to do it like probs (well in our opinion) we got out step-by-step guide off of the BBC website, I think, I'm sure, let me just check that for ya...yup it was BBC I'll post the link in this blog so you guys can see what we had done instead of me attempting to explain it to you, very, very badly.
Chilli con carne step by step guide

Some of the ingredients on the BBC's step by step guide we did not have, the ingredients that we used you can see in the image down below, although I should also add that the picture doesn't show the garlic, tomato puree and beef stock that we also used.

- Rice from Asda (it says put in for around 15 min in boiled water but we had it in there throughout the time that we were cooking the chilli con carne so it was MUCH longer than that and our rice was quite sticky and soft, if you do not like it like that then check on it every now and again and until it looks like how you want it keep it in the boiling water)
- The spices used were hot chilli, paprika and cumin (from tescos they were about 95p each)
-We used 250g of mince beef (again fromt tescos, minus the rice we got everything from tescos the day before as I had mentioned in my previous blog about my other day with Jen)
- One onion (Im pretty sure you can use can type of onion you've got)
- Can of tomatoes
- Can of kidney beans
(^ those are the ingredients in the image)
I stupidly forgot to take a picture of the final result -_- I know I'm sorry, I'll try remember for next time. We ended up with plenty of rice and Chilli con carne and I stuffed my face till I was too full, I couldn't finish my food, I only had a little bit left though lol

Oh and before all of this, I FINALLY got round to watching 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' see I'd seen half of it about 2-3 x but for some strange reason never the end, the movie was hilarious and if you haven't seen it I totally recommend it! As the weather was lovely yesterday after the movie we chilled out in Jen's garden till I got way to hungry and thats when we made out food :)

Have a great rest of the week, and I will be blogging again probably Wednesday about my favourite Tv shows in the past and present, so watch out for that blog! Till then guysss

My day with Jen

Friday: College then Jensssss

Hey guysss, so Friday morning I went to college (as I mentioned in my previous post photography is the only subject that I've got left to finish) so after finally doing my final piece for my first coursework book in photography, I later on headed to Jenni's which is a 10-15min walk from our college

I FINALLY got round to watching 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' it was amazing! Loved it! The romance between the religious dude and the mermaid was beaut!!! So cuteeee; anyways, then we got hungry and decided to cook a lil something to eat, unfortunately I do not have the video with me (as it was taken on Jenni's phone) but I do have some pictures of our day.

Jen relaxing, and if you look closely there's me taking the pic!

Seflie! Do like my hair up like that I must say, bit vain but yaknow..

Cooking a lil treat
Bit of Friday afternoon Ugly Betty (loved that show)

After the movie and eating some food, a lil while later we headed to Wetherspoons as we got hungry again, lol that's me and Jenni for ya! I had a the BEST burger I have ever had at spoons that day (and I'm still dreaming about it now) and she had a gourmet hot dog. After our lil spoons date, we decided as the next day I was going to visit Jen again, that Saturday we should make food ourselves; Chilli con carne. So we went round and got all the ingredients that we needed, it may have only been a trip to Tescos but it was a funny one.

Shopping for our Chilli con carne

My beaut burger and chips at Spoons!

Anyway, my blog on Saturday's Chilli con carne will be up either tonight, or tomorrow
have a great Lazy Sunday like meeee!

Blogging Virginity 2.0

Hellooooooo, I'm back on the blogging wagon!

Well, this is technically my first blog post on my blog BUT, could I just add I had done one a while back but that seems to have disappeared so I started a new one; hence this blogs title, yes guys you can lose your blog virginity twice. I will hopefully be blogging regularly on my blog from on

Well, so they call me one; I do admit that I'm quite short (5ft, yes just 5ft and no added inches I like to look at it positively at least I made it to the 5's right?) so all my life I've been one of the more shorter ones in my classes and well everywhere else! Some people, might take offense to it but, I like to embrace it after all I ain't gonna be growing anytime seen lol

Anyway, hmm what can I tell you..well the weathers been MUCH better although it was a bit windy today but still, I'll take it atleast the suns out finally!! Finished my exams Monday yaaaay! Happy daysss!! Now all I got left to finish off is my photography work and then roll on summer holidaysss, should be an eventful one!

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing on now, I will be posting laterrrr! Have a good day (night its like half 11..) byeeee
Dunya (the Midget worlds main gurll)
